We make this site so we can read stories to children without pushy ads. Here you will find classic tales retold in our own words, and stories of our own.

We retell only classics that are in the public domain: Ukrainian folk tales, the Brothers Grimm, Andersen, Perrault and others. Each retold tale credits its source.

We create the texts and pictures with the help of artificial intelligence. We proofread the Ukrainian version of every story ourselves, and the translations into other languages appear on the site only after an automatic quality check.

Every story shows the age it suits and how long it takes to read aloud, and ends with a few questions to talk over with your child.
